Certified Scrum Master

LOCATION: 100% Remote

LinTech Global is looking for a candidate to join our team as the Scrum Master (SM) that will serve as an Agile facilitator within the IRS Criminal Investigation (CI) Technology Operations (TechOps) environment (IRS-CI TechOps). The SM will guide cross?functional teams in Agile practices, ensuring effective delivery of enterprise IT projects in alignment with IRS?CI's strategic goals including support for law enforcement, cybersecurity, and modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities and Skills:


  • Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams supporting IT service delivery across several functional areas such as Executive Office strategy, Business Systems Development, PMAC, and User Support for the IRS?CI program.
  • Facilitate all Agile ceremonies across various program areas (daily stand?ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives) to support continuous delivery and improvement.
  • Facilitate and train team members on Agile methodologies, principles, and tools to build internal Agile capabilities and ensure successful adoption across IRS?CI TechOps.
  • Remove impediments or elevate issues that hinder team progress; ensure alignment with CI leadership and compliance requirements.
  • Work closely with Portfolio, Program, and Project Management (PPPM) teams to align Agile activities with overarching strategic goals and performance metrics.
  • Support the integration of Agile principles in IRS?CI Enterprise Architecture and solution engineering initiatives (e.g., As?Is and To?Be architecture alignment, roadmap development).
  • Collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects, Business Analysts, Program Analysts, and Security SMEs to deliver capabilities iteratively and incrementally.


Required Qualifications:
  • Active CSM Certification or SAFe SSM Certification (Scrum Alliance, Scaled Agile, or equivalent).
  • The candidate must obtain the SAFe SSM Certification while awaiting clearance, if not already certified.
  • 4+ years' experience as a Scrum Master.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence), and Service Now.
  • Ability to obtain a high-risk public trust clearance within IRS?CI.


Preferred:
  • Familiarity with project portfolio management and configuration/change management processes in enterprise settings.
  • SAFe Release Train Engineer Certification (RTE), to facilitate PI Plannings.
  • Experience with Atlassian tool suite (JIRA, Confluence).
